Afghanistan National Standards Authority’s director general meets the chairmen of Afghanistan chamber of industries and mines.

Eng. Zabihullah Ziarmmal, director general of ANSA met with Mr. Shirbaz Kamin Zada, Head of Afghanistan Chamber of Industries and Mines with the attendance of other officials of relevant departments.

The Director General of ANSA spoked about vital role of standards application in the Afghan industry and products for reaching an industrial revolution in the country and said that implementation of standards in domestic products is necessary to benchmark and gain national and international credibility. He also stated that ANSA provides investment opportunities in various sectors to the private sector, especially in material quality testing laboratories, and is committed to continued cooperation with the private sector in order to create a common language.

Mr. Kamin zada appreciated the plans ANSA department in support of the private sector and wished Mr. Ziarmal success in advancing these plans. He also stated that most of Afghanistan chamber Industries and Mines works is related to the ANSA department.

At the end, the two sides agreed on the cooperation agreements and promise were made for further cooperation and coordination between the two sides.
